Technique: Handspun Cotton
The Bombay Trousers are a high-rise fit with front pleats, a hidden side zipper and a button closure at the waist. A wide leg cut creates a subtle A-line drape. Multiple lines of stitching add structure to the deep hemline, which can be folded up to reveal a hidden tab and buttons. Use the tab and buttons to pinch roll the ankle and transform the silhouette into harem-style trousers.
Handspun cotton, handwoven by master ikat weavers in our Celeste motif.

Ikat : Tied, dyed and woven. Ikat is an ancient handloom technique for creating patterns on textiles. The defining characteristic of ikat is that the patterns are dyed onto the yarns before the fabric is woven. This is achieved through a masterful process of resist dyeing on either the warp or weft fibers, or on both.
Handwork naturally results in variations. We cherish these imperfections for their human touch.
