True to form, Hartwick Atelier’s launch is unfolding in a series of salon-style evenings along the path of Hartwick’s travels this fall, starting in Tatlayoko Lake, Canada where she and her photographer husband have hand built their off grid homestead deep in pristine wilderness. Moderated, invite-only events in New York, Paris and Dubai will lead to a month-long boutique residency on Chiltern Street in London in December [a collaboration with longtime friend Mickey Ashmore, founder of the iconic handcrafted Sabah Shoes brand.

The intention is to invite people into a conversation about true sustainability in fashion, to create an opportunity to really see and feel the fabrics, and to foster an appreciation for the mastery in these pieces…
